Ipswich is well served by trains from London and Peterborough.

A Greater Anglia train service operates from London Liverpool Street which is on the Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. The trains to Ipswich depart approximately every 30 minutes during the working day with a typical journey time of 1 hour and 15 mins.

Trains from Peterborough via Cambridge are typically hourly, take 1 hour and 40 minutes. They are also operated by Greater Anglia.

If you are arriving by train, Avenue Taxis operate within the grounds of the train station next to the main entrance and alongside the bus stops.

It is approximately a 12-minute taxi ride from the train station.

Getech is located within a 4-minute walk of a bus stop referred to as Wharfedale Road.

There are no direct bus routes from the train station.

If travelling by bus from the train station, you should take either the number 12 or 13 to Tower Ramparts and change to the number 7 bus. The route and times can be viewed via the Ipswich Buses journey planner website.

When departing the bus, turn right and take the first left to Wharfedale Road and proceed along the road to the junction. Turn right into the private road at the top of Knightsdale Road. Getech is located at the top of the road within the Industrial Estate.

Ipswich is easily accessed via the A12 from London (M25) and via the A14 from Cambridge and the Midlands (A1 and M1).

Getech is located on the outskirts of Ipswich between Junctions 53 and 54 of the A14. The postcode for your sat nav is IP1 4JQ. Getech’s offices are located at the top of a small industrial estate at the end of Knightsdale Road.

There are limited car parking facilities available. The visitor’s parking is sign-posted and available on the row to the left of the Getech car park signage. When parked please head to reception and advise them of your vehicle details and car parking bay number.

Please note: large delivery vehicles are manoeuvring within the estate and care should be taken on your approach. Please only park within the marked bays.
